It’s not vain to want to feel like you, and the confidence you have in your wardrobe to bring that to life is the only difference between dressing up to feel good or dressing your Feel Good Up
Meet Mannie
I started my love affair with fashion and styling the moment I could walk. It was always playing dress ups with anything I could find.
In 2019 I launched my first business, BOWIE RAE - An international Fashion Bridal label after I realised all wedding dresses looked and felt the same - like women were being asked to dress down into something that was appropriate for a woman owning the spotlight for a day.
I have worked with many women all over the world over the last 8 years, listening to the great disconnection between women and their own bodies. It didn’t matter their age, body shape or size, and where in the world they were - women just couldn’t feel themselves without clothes on first.
and so a new conversation began
Every woman finds herself in moments where life has moved and they have shifted - and like a Snake, our skin sheds. I am here to help guide you through this new shedding - feel into who you are now under everything else that has fallen away and then, create a wardrobe of new skins that will help you feel most like you!

long story short
I’ve spent the best part of the last 8 years working with women who unanimously feel uninspired and unseen by the major ‘fashion trends’ designed to tell you what you ought to wear, how you ought to wear it and for how long before it and you become obsolete.
Over this relatively short time, I was able to hear a very long narrative, much shorter and more succinct - fashion has excluded the woman behind the clothes.
Put simply, women have been contorted for so long and so well, by an industry that sells one silver lining promise at the end of all the ‘shape shifting’, ‘poking’ , ‘probing’ and ‘squeezing into’ fashion trends they have sold you - You will be Beautiful.
And this promise has fallen way short! No woman I met felt beautiful in the fashion trends they had been sold, which is why they found me and my little niche label, Bowie Rae - a bridal label for the woman who didn’t want to dress herself down into a Bride on her own wedding day.
Listening and playing with all of these creative, exciting and bold women from all around the world, slowly led me to this part of the story - what if we go straight to the source of the lie - our wardrobes! What if we found the right shape and size of our own palette, our own silhouettes, our own layering? What if fashion worked for us instead of the other way round?
Long story short - I’m on a mission to make sure every woman feels the ultimate power she has in feeling Beautiful, Seen and of course, playful.
Our clothes are the skin we choose to show the world around us, let’s not pay an already billion dollar industry any more money to help us feel the exact opposite! Let’s choose our own skin, with confidence and of course, the playfulness we were born to be!
